I am setting up a fresh start in QB. I imported my products from PC to QB but when I import orders (as sales receipts) I get an error stating that an account is not associated with an item and I discover new products have been created in QB which are services, not inventory items. Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong and how to fix it?

Make sure that you have throughly followed all the instructions in setting up your company in QuickBooks. There are a number of "items" that are required to be added so that the mapping invoices from ProductCart to QuickBooks is a smooth one. http://www.earlyimpact.com/pdf/ProductCart_QuickBooks_Addon. pdf You can find the list of required items and how to create them in QuickBooks, on page 7 of the QuickBooks Add-on User Guide called "Adding Necessary Items to the QuickBooks Item List" If you are still experiencing issues after you have followed this instructions, submit a formal support request to Early Impact from the following URL: https://www.earlyimpact.com/productcart/support/support_form .asp |
