Can rewards points be based on the subtotal of the order instead of per item?
My rewards points are based on 2% of item price. However, I do have items that are inexpensive and no points are rewarded. If someone bought a whole slew of cheap items, the points should be based on the subtotal of the order. |

I prefer that too. We have customers that say we are not giving them the correct amount. They say they spend 20 dollars but only got 18 points. The happens when they have an item at 1.45 and only get 1 point. Its all a rounding issue. It can be a large discrepancy with large orders full of low priced items like you describe. Its hard to tell them that they have to look at each items page to see how many points they get. They just get frustrated. Basing it on the entire order amount less shipping cost will be easier.
