I don't have Product Cart installed locally... This is on the hosting site where I guess EI did the setup and Installation.  The store is underconstruction as I am getting familiar with Product Cart but I do have some test products in there. Domain is streetpiercing.com  Let me know if you need any additional information... Thanks again!

Please re-generate the category navigation in your store.

http://streetpiercing.com/store/pc/home.asp comes up but when one inspects the category navigation, they are pointing to the IP which has been assigned to your site.  That may not solve anything but at least the store will continue to operate within your domain instead of switching to the IP.

Once that has been done, if problems prevail, please submit a support ticket to EI.  I am concerned about your assertion that scStoreURL is blank.  That needs to be resolved if true, and possibly needs to be edited.  EI support will know what to do.

Hi-  This exact same thing keeps happening to me on IE7 as well.

While clicking on products on my website: "the page hangs while downloading data... what I see in the status bar is...

'(1 item remaining) Downloading data http://ipaddress/store/pc/images/highslide/zoomin/cur...'"

Did you ever find out what the problem was?

Hi loracady,
Is this on a live store or a local test site? On a live store it should not be using the ipaddress in the URL and it's fairly easy to do the same.

Hi Hamish-

This is on a live store.  Sorry, I just used the original quote from St. Pierce's post.  On my status bar, when IE 7crashes, it says:

Sometimes when it crashes, there is nothing in the status bar.

Hi,
It seems fine when I browse around the store with IE7. Is there a particular URL that is causing problems?

No, it happens randomly.  I uninstalled IE7 and then I reinstalled it, hoping maybe there was a corrupt file on my pc.

Has anyone else had this problem?  I was just trying to take an order for a customer and IE 7 froze up like it always does.  None of my customers have been complaining about IE 7 crashing on them, but I am worried that it might.  I found something about this online, but I don't know how to make sense of it or if it even applies to my situation: http://highslide.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3611&p=17027

Hi loracady,

Sorry to hear you are having problems, that was a frustrating on for me since it would only happen in the Control Panel or while "clicking around" in my store - nowhere else!

Jolt was checking things on their end and I was checking thing on my end.  But the problem seemed to have stopped after I "reset" IE7.  Here is the microsoft support link concerning this... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

I haven't had the problem since... The only thing that is puzzling to me is that you said you did a reinstall of IE7 which I think would have reset everything in the process.  Anyway, I hope this helps you.

Good luck,
St_Pierce
