Microsoft Internet Explorer 9

I understand this is out in a beta form but we have been getting problems on checkout with this version. Specifically it won't display the credit card form.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi Josh,
IE9 is a Beta & we are seeing updates. We will look at compatibility when it reaches Release Candidate stage as before then there is no real point. As we have seen in previous browser releases there are often quite a few issues that get sorted before the RC version is released.

Hi Josh, I'll post some code to redirect IE9 Beta users to a friendly message.  Give me a few.

Hi Josh, I have a snippet that you can install into your header that will display a message to IE9 Beta users.  I am not going to post it on the wiki until the entire team gets to review it (probably tomorrow).  However, you can PM me to try it... or open a ticket.

I posted a snippet of code on the wiki that will display a message to IE9 Beta users.  You can customize the message.  Let me know if you run into any issues.  Be sure to remove the snippet once IE9 is released.

Thanks
I know the ie9 is in beta, but I have noticed that 3% of our users are already "trying" it out.

One of my customers who is using IE9 beta is complaining that the 'Continue' button on onepagecheckout.asp does not respond. I confirmed this and found that clicking 'compatibility mode' helps. In particular, if 'I agree with the terms...' is not checked and 'Continue' is clicked, the customer cannot proceed even if he then checks 'I agree...'.

He knows it is a beta!

Hi,
Please see this WIKI article about displaying a message to customers using IE9 Beta. http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/redirect_ie9_beta
As it is a beta we expect M'soft will resolve this before before releasing it and also that any customers who have installed it are almost certainly tech savvy enough to have more than a single browser installed.

Hey guys. It looks like IE9 is a Release Candidate now, and we are still having errors with it. Mainly when trying to take an order. What happens that, on onepagecheckout.asp, after entering the billing info and agreeing to the terms and conditions, pressing continue returns you to the very first step of the checkout process and clears all of the billing info. The URL at the top of the screen shows the billing info (not sure if that's relevant).
