Oversold even though backorder was disabled

   Hello,

Using v4.0a SP4

We just launched our site mediabridgeproducts.com a couple months ago and have had just about enough orders to see how things work. So there may be a simple solution to this. We have an item that we are currently out of stock and the inventory settings for the item show 0 (zero) and the "Allow Backordering" box is not checked. Yet the item is showing as available on our site and our inventory now shows -1 since someone has successfully ordered it. 

How can that be?

We have other items that show our message "Currently Unavailable" when they run out. Am I missing something?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

You have to login to raise a support ticket : https://www.earlyimpact.com/eistore/productcart/pc/custpref.asp There have been improvements made in recent versions to check stock levels more frequently to minimize the chances of overselling when it is not allowed.
