Products with Custom Input Fields Not Working |

I'm using v4.1a SP 1 with all the patches installed except Mobile Commerce and PayPal.
After installing the recent patches, when I'm in the Control Panel on a Modify Product page and click at the TOP Custom Fields I get a server timeout error. However, when I'm click on Custom Fields in the left column, I see the UPC, MPN etc. fields for Google base. Plus, for customers, all Custom Input Fields are producing error codes (except if the product has options ???). When I reproduce the problem and look up the error code info, I get the following pertinent info:
Any ideas as to what in the new patches could be causing these problems? |

The errors that customers get are after they enter the custom text and then click "add to cart."
