How to; Remove SKU from product page

We don't want to see the SKU,
I found the controls in the back office to turn off those settings but it still shows on our individual products pages,
I saw the post here;

in the forum on editing the languages.asp file but we don't want to remove them all so we can keep track of our inventory. and I tried to do it anyways just to test it and it still showed part of the SKU :(
there was about 15 or so SKU entries in the languages.asp file.
I also saw info quoted below but I don't have a clue which ones I can safely remove and not hurt my inventory control!!!
"If you feel that you can edit the code a bit, a search for "pSKU" in the source code in the "pc" folder will return most instances of where the SKU is shown."

I was gone on a trip!!! I will do what you suggested and go into viewprdcode.asp and find the code and try and make those changes :)
