We get 1-2 orders per week that should charge tax, but don't. It's always from zip codes that have 2 or more rates / lines to pick from. When I try to re-create the problem using the customers addresses, sometimes the drop-down menu won't appear at all until I switch zip codes to something random and then back again. (This happened with 98362 which has 10 options.) I can't find anything consistent between the orders that don't charge tax, except that their zips all have 2 or more rates to choose from. We're using this table: WA_complete.csv in the usual location. This isn't a new problem. It's been happening for a year or 2. Any suggestions to fix this? Customers don't like it when their order is higher than quoted online ... but we don't like eating 9% of their order.
Thanks for any ideas! |
